Danilla Wood Davis, age 87 of White Pine, ascended to her heavenly home July 12, 2008.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years: Burl Delozier Davis, parents: Oscar Wood and Laura Norris Wood. She leaves her sons and their spouses: Burl E. and Billie Davis of Talbott; Cleamon and Lois Davis of Nashville; and Jack and Sharon Davis of White Pine. Daughter and husband: Sandra and Allen Fowler of White Pine. Grandchildren: Danny, Brent, Davy, Marc, Joel, Steven and Candace Davis, Craig and Ryan Fowler, Summer Phillips and Michelle Rucker; and several great grandchildren. Brothers: WC Wood of Lenior , NC and Edwin Wood of Dark Hollow. Sisters: Lucille Smith of Morristown, Myrtle Conard of Newport, and Maudella Wilson of Bogard. Robert “Charlie Bob” Sutton, age 78, of Cosby, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, in Knoxville.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lola Sutton, daughters and sons-in-law Darlene and Donald Booth of Bybee, Sandra and Frank Holloway of White Pine, daughters, Debbie Sutton of Cosby, and Vicky Bloodworth of Milan, Tn. Five grandchildren, Sandra Baxter, Tony Baxter and wife Jessica, Amy Holloway, Kyle and Trevor Bloodworth, four great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tony Lee, Robert and Tapanga Baxter, one sister, Margaret Dunn of Newport.
