Homer Lewis Payne

Homer Lewis Payne age 83, of Newport, died Friday evening in Bristol, TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mattie J. Freeman Payne and son Donald Payne.

He is survived by his sons Marvin Payne of Blountville, TN and Ron Payne of Knoxville, TN.

Grandsons Doni, Luke, Timothy and Matthew Payne.

Sisters Betty Turner and Lillie Ellison of Newport, TN. Brother George Payne of Chattanooga, TN

Family will receive friends Tuesday evening July 29,2008 from 5 til 7P.M. at the Brown Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. with Rev, Bill Murr officiating.

Graveside service will be 11 A.M. Wednesday at the Piney Grove Cemetery, Del Rio, TN.

Brown Funeral Home, Newport, TN in charge.

    so sorry to hear about your dad passing have alot of fond
    memories of lewis while growing up I remember the van
    he drove with all his tools he was a good friend to my daddy
    (george rollins) had not seen him since daddys funeral
    My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at
    this time
