Charlene Rathbone Brown

Charlene Rathbone Brown, age 68, of Newport died Saturday morning at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Colombus Brown, Parents Raymond and Lola Raines Rathbone. Sister Mary Vina Cates and Brothers Lee Odas Rathbone and Cleophas Rathbone.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Roger White, Elva and Dewey Cameron of Newport.

Sister and brother-in-law Dora and David Brown of Cosby and sister Judy Rathbone of Newport.

Brother and sister-in-law Charles and Diana Rathbone of Newport and brother Tom Dewey Rathbone of Newport.

Grandchildren Tonya and Husband Steve Ellison, Matthew White, and Wesley White, and great grandson Alex Ellison all of Newport. Also several nieces and nephews.

Sister-in-law Imogene Rathbone of Newport.

Family will receive friends Sunday Evening September 7, 2008 from 6 til 8 P.M. the funeral service at 8 P. M. with Rev. Manson Lee and Rev. Jackie Caldwell officiating.

Graveside service will be 10 A. M. Monday September 8, 2008 at the Union Cemetery.

Brown Funeral Home in charge.
