Blaine Willard Thomas, age 82, of Morristown, died Sunday morning at the Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. He was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

He was preceded in death by his wife Inez Davis Thomas, parents George Washington and Josephine Baker Thomas.

He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Lynn (C. L.) and Rita Thomas of Morristown, Willie and Aldean Thomas of Chestnut Hill.

Grandchildren Penny and Ryan Walker of Nashville, Erica Thomas and Travis Thomas of Morristown, Sandra Sutton of Dandridge and Mark Davis of Chestnut Hill.

Great grandchildren Kara Morgan, Shyleigh Morgan, Cody Walker and Benny Sutton.

Special caregivers Horace and Brenda Frady, also several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be 8 pm Monday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating.

Family will receive friends Monday from 6 til 8 pm prior to the service.

Family and friends will meet at the English Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery at 9:45 am for a 10:00 o’clock graveside service.
