Dave Thomas

Dave Thomas age 78 of the Bybee Community passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare. He was a member of New Home Freewill Baptist Church and preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruth Thomas; parents John and Eunavee Thomas; brothers James Thomas, Eulius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Larry Thomas, and Jerry Thomas; and sister Linda.

Survivors include his son Bob (Jean) Dawson; grandchildren Cory and Clarissa Dawson; brothers Bill (Debbie) Thomas and Hubert Thomas; sisters Louise Holloway and Armittie Thomas; brother-in-law Ruble (Juanita) McAmish; sister-in-law Marie Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 7, 2009 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday March 6, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
