Ella Mae Yates
Ella Mae Yates, of Del Rio, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at St. Mary’s Health System in Knoxville. She was a member of Round Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edmond Yates, son Charles Wayne Yates, grandson Steven Ray Yates, brother Ray Williams Stokely, parents Flora and Samuel Angus Stokely.
Survivors include her daughters Linda Arrowood, Delilah Shelton (Berry), sons Danny Yates (companion Phyllis Gentry), very special grandchildren Ricky, Christie, Shawna, Scottie, Tommy, Shawn, Dewayne, Kelly, Jason, Steven and Christopher, 3 special great granddaughters Chloe, Madison, and Madelyn, 15 other great grandchildren, 2 special friends Tabitha Wyatt and Sandra Haney, along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Tois Seay officiating. Interment will follow in Clark Cemetery in Deep Gap. The family will receive friends Monday, March 30, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home.
