Hattie Haney Philbeck

Hattie Haney Philbeck, age 86, of Del Rio, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Newport Health and Rehab. She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Artie Speagle Justice, husbands Rev. Richard Haney and Rev. Gordan Philbeck, brothers Carl Justice, Charles Justice, Robert Justice Jr., Thomas Justice, infant son Donald Stevie Haney, granddaughters April Denese Haney and Emily Haney, grandson Jordan Haney.

Survivors include her daughter Shirley (John) James, sons Howard (Alice) Haney, Henry Haney, Wayne (Nellie) Haney, Dean (Terry) Haney, Danny (Tammy) Haney, grandchildren Robbie, David, Curtis, Rodney, Anthony, Kirk, Cindy, Sherrie, Ricky, Christie, Daniel, April, Angela, Amanda, Rixie, Jennie, 28 Great grandchildren, 1 Great-Great grandchild, brothers Hugh Justice, Marion (Mable) Justice, sisters Fannie Wells, Bonnie Woodard, sister-in-laws Dorothy Justice, Annie Justice, Flora Justice, Mae Justice, Grace Justice along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family would like to give a special Thanks to Newport Health and Rehab. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Del Rio where she will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home.
