Edward Parks
Edward Parks age 80 of Del Rio, Tn., passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at Laughlin Hospital in Greeneville, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Reva Parks; parents Matthew and Della McFeeture Parks; brothers Lee and Carter Parks; sisters Maggie, Clubb, and Syvilla Parks.
He is survived by his children; son Johnny (Lillie Mae) Parks of Hot Springs, N.C.; daughters Linda (R.B.) Watts of Parrottsville, TN., and Nora Lee (Jerry) Self of Parrottsville, TN.; sister Carrie Parks of Morristown, TN.; brothers Clyde Parks of Hot Springs, N.C., and Roy Parks of Parrottsville, TN.; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Fairview Methodist Church Cemetery in Hot Springs, N.C.; in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fairview Methodist Church Cemetery fund in Hot Springs, N.C.
