Dorothy Ghent Brazell
Dorothy Ghent Brazell, age 77 of Newport passed away Wednesday, July 01, 2009 at Newport Health and Rehab. She was a member of Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow W. Brazell.
Survivors include her brother Billy Gene Ghent, Cecil R. Ghent (Frances) Donald T. Ghent (Diane) Jimmy M. Ghent (Darryl) sisters Ruth G. Norris, Linda G. Sims (Roger), Mary E. Faulkenberry and special friend Dorothy Howard.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church Cemetery in Newport, TN with the Rev. Mike Baker officiating.

just thinking about the family i work at newport health and rehab i took care of mamaw we loved her alot she touched each of our hearts very deeply she was a very special person i loved her alot she will be missed by everyone she was very special to me may god bless everyone of youns we will never forget mamaw
Maw was one of a kind, and showed us in her own way that each and everyone of us were special to her. She was a fun, loving and very understanding person. She loved to give us, her caregivers, a hard time, but that’s what we all loved about her so much. There was never a dull moment, when she was around. We may not be related to maw by blood kin, but maw was part of our family, with each hug and love you that came from her will always be remember. Maw you are greatly miss now and forever…Love You a bushel and pecks worths…Crystal and Allie Bug… May God wrap his arms around all those that are mourning
