Evelyn L. Roberts
Evelyn L. Roberts, age 84, of Del Rio, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Roberts, son Ronnie Roberts, parents Joseph and Ola Turner Stokley, brother Houston Stokley. Survivors include her daughter Linda Williams (Charlie), son Donnie Roberts (Karen), grandchildren Tristan Williams, brothers Wiley Joe Stokley (Willian), Willie Stokley (Ailene), George Stokley (Sheila), Arthur “Curley” Stokley, Ray Stokley (Reba), sisters Edna Worley of Newport, sister-in-law Nona Stokley of Parrottsville along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Murr and Rev. Scott Gorrell officiating. Interment will follow in Stokley Cemetery, Del Rio. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home.

Dear Linda
I am so sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. While every relationship is different, having lost my mother too, I believe I know some of what you are feeling.
I have so many wonderful memories of Evelyn from my childhood that will stay with me forever. I will never forget all the “little biscuits” she made for me.
I love you and your entire family. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
