Johnny Russell

Johnny Russell, age 64, of Del Rio, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Black Russell, daughter Lisa Ann Russell, father Sam H. Russell Sr., sister Virginia Ann Hollifield.

Survivors include his sons John Russell Jr., and Thomas Edward Russell, 11 grandchildren, brothers Sam H. Russell Jr., Warren G. Russell, sisters Lena Beasley, Grace Hollifield, mother Pearl Grace Russell, along with several nieces and nephews.

As per his request, he will be cremated. Private services will be held.

    We are very sorry to hear of the loss of Johnny. Johnny was a very kind man, hard worker, and always willing to help. Johnny loved the outdoors, getting close to nature, and was very knowledgeable on wildlife. He will be missed by family and friends.
