He was preceded in death by his mother Nellie Mae Holt; grandparents Bartley and Barbara Jenkins and aunt Lucille Jenkins.

He is survived by his children Leslie and Bart; brothers Brian Holt and Ricky Holt of Newport and Kenny Holt of Knoxville; aunt and uncle Charles and Betty Jenkins; several nieces and nephews, extended family and special friends.
